Roger Clemens still “Thinks he Mis-remembers”

Lets chat sports people! And what better topic than one of modern baseball best pitchers and maybe one of Baseballs all time greats “ROGER CLEMENS”! I had the priviledge of watching Roger live many times over the years and his accomplishments on the field are unmistakeable! He has/had the ability to take a 500 team and push them over the top. He had the ability to shutdown the best hitters and the best teams during his career. He was so good that contending teams will still most likely try to sign him again late next summer. That being said I believe the reason he is a target in this steriod scandall is because of his personality. He is one of your typical I’m doing things my way and if you don’t like it to bad! He’s the type of guy who changes for no-one, and I can only speculate he may not even apologize to his own family after he has wronged them. Many of us have a hard time to admit when we have done something wrong or apologize but it is a “must do” in life. There is only “two” scenarios in this scandal! Either scenario Roger is teaching his “sons” a valuable lesson. Education on health/drugs and the human body! The lesson is that drugs although they may help in the short term can do perminant damage in the long term. As he is currently proclaiming to the media what I’m sure as a father he has been teaching his sons. I genuinely believe Rogers day to day public actions are only to be a role model for his kids & maybe even up and coming atheletes. The funny thing about life is you can’t choose “one speach” to the media to educate people on who “you are” and what “you believe”! The media or even your own circle of family and friends see the entire picture, not a single moment, but and entire life. Many many atheletes have only one moment of greatness that is remembered by all, but Roger has had countless achievements. And countless times he has been extremely abrasive in front of the camera. I’m sure maybe all of us may not have the patience to deal with decades of public screwtiny but it comes with stardom, and the people that reported about his career are part of the reason he is “RICH & FAMOUS”. That’s right, as great as Roger is and Roger if you ever read this, I know you are great, you would only be a very very strong man throwing a ball against a wall in an empty feild without all the fans and even the people who have constantly attacked you over the years. Life is tough, being a father is tough, being a famous person must be tough, but it doesn’t change the way a person should conduct themself. My best advice for Roger is if you can’t find it in your heart to forgive the media or your critics completely “SAY NOTHING AT ALL”. Eventually the calls willl stop coming in and the lights will stop flashing. As for your sons, be truthfull. Keep educating them on drugs/health and hard work!
I don’t know if Roger did steriods, I don’t even care. His family and those who he can reach and inspire are what counts. Roger is a lucky man, he has been blessed with anything this world can offer and I’m sure a beautiful familyas well. What he chooses to do with his fame is up to him. I hope things turn out good for him. I also believe that if he took them or if he didn’t he can tell us all and he can still come out smelling “Rosey” either way. I think he did so many amazing things in baseball his greatness as a player can never be denied, whether he took steriods for a brief time or not is only a piece of who he is. The person we all know as Roger is only a piece of who he is. The beauty of his story and ours is it is still being written and we can all write the final chapters.
